Kababji Grill, the hidden gem in Dupont Circle
The saying, “Never judge a book by its cover” and “Looks can be deceiving” are cliché but are ultimately proven by a visit to the Kababji Grill in Dupont Circle (1351 Connecticut Ave., NW), an import from Beirut. You would never be able to guess by peering into the front window of Kababji Grill that it’s actually a charming sit-down restaurant. Impossible to know from...

If You Have to Choose, Choose Merzi
A guest post by Dining in DC contributor, Daphne Domingo When thinking of a place to dine in Penn Quarter, a lot of DC’s top restaurants come to mind. While it’s fun to dress up for a night out on the town, some days, you just want to eat someplace quick and casual. Unfortunately, there aren’t too many choices in the bustling neighborhood aside from typical sandwiches, fast food or pizza. Until...

Dino offers several menu options including their “Restaurant Week” menu of three courses of select...

Real Fish n’ Chips without needing a passport: Eamonn’s, A Dublin Chipper in Old Town, Alexandria.
Even on a hot and steamy day like today, I ventured out for lunch with one goal in mind — to see what all the fuss was about in Old Town at the new E. Located on the corner of Columbus and King, Eamonn’s is like no other place in the tri-state area, probably intended to be that way. The world-renowned Chef Cathal Armstrong, an Irish native, his wife Meshelle, and partner and sommelier...

Cheap Eats

I like that there is always a fold-out guide that lists the name of the restaurant, type of cuisine, address, neighborhood, phone, etc....
