September is coming to a close, but there is still time to tune-in to Kraut Rocks, a month-long, online and offline food experience putting sauerkraut at the forefront of our minds and mouths. You, too, can stir the pot and vote for your favorite signature sauerkraut dish that changed your outlook on kraut.
Former Top Chef contestant and DC restaurateur Spike Mendelsohn cooked up some fierce Kraut Rocks competition among Granville Moore’s Teddy Folkman; The Queen Vic British Pub’s Ian Reeves; Fabrice Reymond of Redline GastroLounge; Toki Underground’s Erik Bruner-Yang; and Ryan Wheeler of Virtue Feed & Grain.
While this group banded together to rock sauerkraut, the chefs are competing to have their featured sauerkraut dish win the title of “fan favorite” as determined by your votes on Krautrocks.com.

In addition to earning Kraut King bragging rights, the winning chef becomes your grand prize too. The restaurant of the chef who gets the most votes becomes the featured grand prize awarded in the Kraut Rocks sweepstakes.
