Giveaway: Win a Gift Certificate to ZENGO
Voted #1 for best Mojito, it’s no surprise that ZENGO (781 7th St. NW), is one of my new favorite places in the city. Offering an artful blend of Latin-Asian styles and flavors, Chef-owner Richard Sandoval, whose accolades include Bon Appétit Restaurateur of the Year and Mexico’s Toque d’Oro, spins regional ingredients into beautifully balanced dishes designed for sharing. If you haven’t discovered Zengo, then you’re seriously missing out.
Located in the heart of Gallery Place/Chinatown, ZENGO is walking distance to the Verizon Center and has a beautiful 2-level lounge and dining room, the perfect spot to grab a cocktail after work or enjoy a bite with friends. ZENGO offers scrumptious fare for extremely reasonable prices, especially their new weekday lunch menu. Where else can you get the best of bento boxes, latin-asian sandwiches, and bowls of rice and noodles for cheap?
To celebrate Dining in DC’s 5 year Blogiversary, ZENGO has generously provided a $50 Gift Certificate to one lucky winner! (How many Mojitos can you get for $50?!)
Comment below about where you go for your favorite Mojito in the DC area for your chance to win! One Winner will be chosen Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 5 p.m. Must be a Dining in DC Subscriber to be eligible to win.

For amazing Mojitos, I love to go to Cafe Citron in Dupont Circle or Cubano’s in Silver Spring, MD, especially during Happy Hour!

Cuba Libre IS overpriced, but their mojitos remind me of the ones I used to get living in Miami – the city with the BEST mojitos. It’s a taste of home in a glass.

The old Cafe Salsa in Old Town used to be my spot for mojitos, but I have to agree with some of the other folks who commented. Cuba Libre’s mojitos rock!

I know it’s not in D.C but it’s just outside of the lines in downtown silver spring. But Cubano’s has a killer mojito.I’ve not been to Masa 14, but I remember getting a sample of their Mojito at one of the Best of Washington parties, and it was amazing as well.
