To Do: Frederick Restaurant Week March 5-11
It’s not a secret that Frederick, MD is one of my favorite places in the DC Metropolitan area. In fact, my husband and I jetted down there in December for our 8th year wedding anniversary. We spent one week prior to that and fell in love with it. It’s the perfect getaway. If you need a reason to visit then delay no further. Frederick Restaurant Week is coming! Forward March!
Similar to DC Restaurant Week, Frederick Restaurant Week is a 7-day promotion that features the unique and fine dining options available in Downtown Frederick and the surrounding area. More than a dozen participating restaurants will offer diners prix-fixe meals at mouth-watering prices the week of March 5 – 11, 2012. Chefs will prepare delicious 2-course and 3-course special menus. During Frederick Restaurant Week, lunches are offered at $15.12 for a 2-course meal and $20.12 for a 3-course meal. Dinners are offered at $20.12 for a 2-course meal and $30.12 for a 3-course meal. All costs are exclusive of tax, beverages and gratuity.

Frederick Restaurant Week is another fine example of the cooperative efforts of the folks here who are ready to “wine & dine” you, as also evidenced by the popular Frederick Wine Trail which features six wineries and a combined 120 acres of vineyards.
