Thanksgiving To Go:

Acadiana: This Thanksgiving, Acadiana’s taking over your kitchen and doing all the preparation for you. From the organic bird to the all-star sides and desserts available to-go, they’ve got you covered. For a New Orleans Thanksgiving feast, order Acadiana’s Holiday Dinner for Eight, which includes a (12-14 pound) Deep Fried Cajun Turkey, your choice of gravy, four sides, a Pumpkin or Pecan Pie, and Acadiana’s famous Biscuits with Housemade Pepper Jelly for $150. All items are also available a la carte from $10-90, including Giblet or Eggplant Gravy, Sweet Potato Puree, Mashed Potatoes, Oyster Stuffing, Cornbread and Andouille Sausage Stuffing, Cranberries, Butternut Squash Soup, Collard Greens, a dozen Biscuits and Housemade Pepper Jelly, Pumpkin or Pecan Pie, and a 12-14 pound turkey. Just place your order by 5pm on Thursday, November 17, 2011 and a complete spread will be ready for pick up on Thanksgiving morning between 11am-1pm.

Turkeys come in 10-14 pound, 14-18 pound, 18-22 pound and 22-26 pound sizes so make sure to specify the size of turkey needed when ordering.The last day to place your order for Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 17th. So instead of laboring all day over a hot stove to serve your family an amazing meal, just head to Carmine’s for a traditional Thanksgiving at its best available for take-out! Serve up the Family-Style Feast ($195) which can feed up to 10 people and stars an 18lb. Roasted Turkey with giblet gravy and stuffing studded with sausage and sage. Enjoy seven side dishes that epitomize classic comfort food, including Sweet Potatoes topped with marshmallows and maple syrup and Brussels Sprouts with caramelized onions and Applewood smoked bacon. Native American and Washington Lobbyist founder, Michael Woestehoff reports that Mitsitam Cafe, located inside the National Museum of the American Indian is offering a special fall take home menu, including a free range turkey brined for three days in maple, smoked and slow roasted with maple butter, served with cranberry marmalade. Another option is the all natural venison leg stuffed and smoked with dried berries , spicebush red wine reduction. Mitsitam means Let’s eat! in the Native language of the Delaware and Piscataway peoples. The Cafe features Native foods found throughout the Western Hemisphere, including the Northern Woodlands, South America, the Northwest Coast, Meso America and the Great Plains. This wonderful restaurant is headed by executive chef, Richard Hetzler.

Perry’s Restaurant: Chef Robert is offering some of his specialties to-go to accompany your Thanksgiving dinner. Order any of the following Butternut Squash Soup ($16 quart); Pumpkin pie ($22); Chocolate pecan pie ($30); Apple pie ($22) or Walnut-cranberry pie ($30). Red Apron Butchery: Thanksgiving is coming and Charcuterie Ninja, Chef Nathan Anda is offering free-range turkeys that are pasture-raised in Virginia on a diet of fresh grass and local grain. These special birds are weighing in at 14-18 lbs and going for $79.99. They’ll even brine them for you to ensure maximum juiciness. Expect them to go fast, so be sure to lock one in for your holiday table by emailing Red Apron (butcher@redapronbutchery.com) today. They’ll also be available to buy online in the next couple weeks (along with some of their other products and raw cuts). If you haven’t tried their hotdog, then you’re missing out. Just saying. Westend Bistro by Eric Ripert located in the Ritz-Carlton, Washington, DC is allowing DC area residents to relax and enjoy your holiday while they do the cooking! The Thanksgiving Feast-To-Go includes Roasted Turkey with all the trimmings, and choice of pumpkin or apple pie. Orders must be received by Friday, November 18; Pickup from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. $269 per order; serves 6; Pricing is all inclusive

Willard InterContinental on Wings Thanksgiving Takeaway: This carry-out holiday feast includes a 10- to 12-pound or 18- to 20-pound turkey (serving four to six people for $150, or eight to ten for $250) with cranberry sauce and gravy, four side dishes, freshly baked rolls and pie.
