Celebrate a soulful Southern Thanksgiving at Clarendon's Restaurant 3.

No one is certain the origin of the “Turducken“. There are claims that Cajun-creole fusion Chef Paul Prudhomme created this dish as part of the festival Duvall Days in Duvall, Washington in 1983. A Southern-based company, “Hebert’s Specialty Meats” located in Maurice, Louisiana has been commercially producing turduckens since 1985.
Soulful Southerners tired of the boring ‘ole Thanksgiving turkey can enjoy the infamous Turkducken at Clarendon’s Restaurant 3. Executive Chef Brian Robinson will stuff the turkey with a duck and a chicken and will be showcasing the bird(s) of plenty at a Southern Thanksgiving Dinner.
From 1pm-6pm on Thanksgiving Day, Restaurant 3 will offer guests a three-course Thanksgiving meal of Chef Robinson’s Southern favorites including Stuffed Pork Tenderloin, Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Fried Catfish and of course, the famed Turducken served with creamed corn and potatoes.
The three-course menu is priced at $33 per person, exclusive of beverages, tax and gratuity and is $15 for children. Reservations for the festive Southern Thanksgiving may be made by calling the restaurant at (703) 524-4440 or online at www.opentable.com The full Thanksgiving menu is listed below.
