Call for Action: Help Bread for the City close their Food Gap
June 23, 2009 by: diningindcPlease help! Bread for the City, one of Dining in DC’s favorite local non-profit organizations has an urgent request. They just ‘closed the books’ on the month of May and have overspent by $10,360 than they budgeted.
Will you please help Bread for the City fill the gap in their food budget? Please consider donating to their food pantry. The cost of food has been rising for years; so, too, the need for food assistance in our community.
Nobody can do this alone. But working together we can make up the difference. $30 will feed a hungry family of four. Please give today.
